Cylinder vase
Tall alabaster(calcite) cylinder vase with rolled rim, tapering from rim to flat base. Model vase, roughly made, exterior not finally finished by polishing. Drilled out on interior, drill markings clearly visible and not smoothed. Funerary vessel. Found in mud-brick mastaba tomb of the Horus Sanakht (Nebka?), 300m north of the mastaba of Neterykhet Djoser.
