Tapestry woven band on flax warp. The design, conventional leaves, rosettes and small squares within a plain border, being worked in green and red on a ground of flax. Tapestry and plain weave. Selvedge on one side. 7 warps per cm composed of 2 threads per warp. The threads part to form a plain weave either side of the tapestry weave. 14 warps per cm.
